Ashley Rosenlund, President, moved to Northern VA, and Cobbdale, in 2012. She lives on Wilson Street with her husband Steve and two children. Ashley was an elementary school teacher with FPS until 2022; she now works as a private reading and math tutor. Linda Baringhaus, Vice President, is a founding member of Cobbdale Civic Association. She has been involved as President of Westmore Civic Association, President of city 4th of July parade, chair for the Chocolate Lovers Festival, chair of the Friends of Fairfax, and currently Secretary of Historic City of Fairfax.
Stacy Hall, Treasurer & her husband, Russ, moved to Cobbdale in 2011 & have two boys. She has served as a Member at Large since 2012. Stacy works as a Controller in the private sector & is serving her first term as a City of Fairfax School Board member. Stephen Rosenlund, Member at Large, lives on Wilson Street with wife Ashley and two children and has been a member of the Board for the past several years. He is a licensed attorney and Certified Association Executive. He works in the international development field.
Courtney Sims, Member at Large, moved to Cobbdale in 2017 with her then family of four. She has since welcomed two daughters and spends a lot of her time at Cobbdale Park and in their backyard garden. She teaches at George Mason’s College of Public Health and supports a forest school co-op, enjoying the polarity of preschool and college aged students.
Chase Wiley, Member at Large, has called Cobbdale home since 2018. He loves solving cybersecurity challenges with his team at Capital One and takes pride in keeping clients’ financial data secure. He also enjoys serving as a business coach and mentor for current students from his alma mater, University of Florida. Chase prioritizes traveling and exploring nature with his wife, Betsy, and their dog, Magic.
Sally Baghdassarian, Member at Large, is a first generation American & a Fairfax native who runs a family business in Washington DC. She enjoys the outdoors, photography, astronomy, cooking, home projects & spending time with her husband Dave & family. Sally looks forward to getting to know our residents & helping to nurture a safe & prosperous community.
Ray Girourard, Past President (ex-officio), has lived in Cobbdale for 30+ years with his wife Regina. He is a longtime member of the CCA, serving as: Newsletter Editor, Treasurer, VP & President. You can often find him at Cobbdale Park beautifying the flower beds. He retired in 2016 but remains active as a basketball official & works for H&R Block during the tax season.
